phononic/band_gaps.py

**Description**


Acoustic band gaps in a strongly heterogeneous elastic body, detected using
homogenization techniques.

A reference periodic cell contains two domains: the stiff matrix :math:`Y_m`
and the soft (but heavy) inclusion :math:`Y_c`.
